What makes GOAL College different?
At GOAL College, we do school differently.
We value personal growth alongside academic learning, and help our students prepare for life after school.
We believe that everyone has the capacity to learn and grow, and we also recognise that traditional classroom settings don’t work for everyone. This is why we run an active and engaging HSC that allows you to learn in a way that works for you.
So, what makes us different? Here’s what you can expect from us:
- We take the pressure out of the HSC
- We’ll prioritise your personal growth and take an individual approach to your learning
- We’ll give you opportunities to explore and find out what you really want to do after school
- We’ll take you outside the classroom and let you learn in all sorts of different settings
At GOAL College we are proudly and deliberately non-ATAR.

Growth
We’re all about helping you to achieve your personal best, and we know that looks different for everyone. While you’re studying with us you’ll grow your skills, your confidence, your knowledge, and – importantly – you’ll grow your employability.
Your Lead Teacher is on hand to help you develop the skills that you’ll need to prepare for your future in the real world after school. They’re there to support you as you explore, learn through your own experiences, and discover your own path.
Opportunity
When you start Year 11, it’s normal to be unsure of what you want to do after school. We recognise that success looks different for everyone, and we are committed to helping our students create the future they want for themselves.
Our HSC, through its unique subject offerings, and our active involvement with businesses, workplaces and employers, provides opportunities you will not find in other schools.

Active Learning
At GOAL College, we do school differently. We recognise that learning doesn’t only take place in a classroom, and our HSC is structured to encourage learning and activities outside of the traditional classroom setting.
By undertaking active learning in real community and workplace settings, we help you to develop the workplace and life skills that really matter, and to learn in a way that works for you.
You’ll get out of your comfort zone and make mistakes – but that’s okay. This is where the real learning takes place and you’ll be supported by your mentor teacher all the way.
