What do we stand for?

Our graduates are well-rounded young people who are ready to enter the workforce, apply to university, study at TAFE, start an apprenticeship or tackle whatever life throws at them.

They embody our school values, the T.R.I.P.L.E Goals:

GOAL College Students | More than Academics | Our Values | Non-ATAR High School | Independent Senior Secondary School | We do school differently

Tenacity and Resilience

We expect our students to have a go. Trying new things is a key part of life, and we encourage our students to be brave when they are facing new experiences. They learn to have the persistence to stick with something long enough to learn something new about themselves.

You won’t always win. Life isn’t always fair or easy and we all encounter disappointments. We teach the importance of learning how to get back up when life knocks you down. What defines our students is how they learn from those disappointments and get stronger from them.

Integrity and Professionalism

At GOAL College, we expect our students and graduates to act with integrity, and to be ethical, honest, and reliable. They follow through with what they have promised, and stand up for others when they may not be able to stand up for themselves. They strive to be the best version of themselves that they can be.

Our students learn the importance of a strong handshake, good eye contact, and confidence in presenting themselves to the world. They look the part and behave in a mature and responsible way.

We expect our students to take pride in their relationships with our business and industry HSC Teammates, and recognise the unique opportunities those relationships provide.

Leadership and Empathy

Leadership isn’t just about being the captain of the sports team or the loudest voice in the room. It’s about making decisions, offering solutions, coping in a crisis, and about doing the right thing when other people around you might not be. Our students and graduates learn to be exemplary leaders.

We teach our students to put themselves in other people’s shoes and understand that we don’t all have the same background and experiences. Having an empathetic outlook allows our students to understand how to work with people from diverse backgrounds and situations in an understanding and productive way.
