Tuition Fee FAQs
Annual tuition fees are inclusive of all tuition and other qualifications that are compulsory to receive your HSC, and some extras like a full uniform on enrolment and a student laptop. Please refer to the Fees Policy for a full list of inclusions.
You’ll pay two tuition deposits in October and November before the start of the school year. These deposits cover up-front costs associated with your enrolment that the school incurs before the start of the school year, such as student uniforms and laptops.
If you’re a late start, we ask that you pay these deposits when you enrol, but we do work flexibly with late enrolments if payment in full will be difficult.
Yes, the deposits are part of the annual tuition fee.
No, you don’t. The majority of our families pay by payment plan to spread out the cost of their annual tuition. Our payment plans begin in January and finish in September, and you can pay weekly, fortnightly or monthly. A small discount is available if you choose to pay up-front in December, prior to the start of the school year.
Yes, we sure do. Most of our families choose to pay by payment plan to spread out the cost of their annual tuition. After you have paid your deposits, you can choose to pay the balance owing up-front in December, or make weekly, fortnightly or monthly payments between January and September.
Our payment plans start in mid-January and finish in late September.
We do! Please take a look at our bursaries page for more information.
First of all, don’t worry! In addition to our scholarships, we offer means-tested fee reductions. This means we will look at your individual situation, including your household income, dependants and any extenuating circumstances. All families who will have genuine difficulty paying full student fees are encouraged to contact the Admissions Team for more information.
It is important to note that the College’s fee reductions are means-tested and not all families will be eligible. All fee reductions are funded by the School, and the school is not compensated for these reductions by external donations or additional government funding.
Pretty much! Our annual tuition covers tuition and all compulsory items. Please refer to the Tuition Fees for all inclusions.
Occasionally, students may be offered ad hoc opportunities or items that come at an additional cost. These items are not compulsory to graduate.
None, if you don’t want to! Occasionally, other optional items are offered to students that fall outside of the annual tuition fee. However, families must agree to the costs in advance to be charged for them.
Examples include: optional qualifications and VET courses, optional excursions (ie. interstate), Year 12 jerseys, Year 12 formal tickets and extra tickets to graduation events.
We offer a discount for up-front payment of annual tuition fees and also a sibling discount when two siblings are enrolled at the same time. Details can be found in our Fee Policy.
It depends on exactly when you join us, but normally we will issue a credit note for any full terms that you have missed. There are four terms and each term is one-quarter of one year’s full fee.
Generally, yes. Prior to joining us we ask that you pay the equivalent of the two deposits that are ordinarily due before the start of the school year. This is to ensure that our up-front costs are covered (eg. uniform allocation and laptop) and that some tuition is paid in advance. Paying this deposit also puts you on track to finish your payment plan at the same time as the rest of your cohort.
That said, we appreciate that not all families will be able to pay the standard deposit in full, so we work flexibly with all late enrolments to come up with a deposit amount and payment plan that works for everyone.
No, we do not accept payment at the end of the year. This is because we have to pay our staff, landlords and other suppliers regularly throughout the year. We are not able to make exceptions to this policy.
No, we do not accept payment quarterly or by term (either up-front or in arrears). You can pay weekly, fortnightly or monthly starting in January and ending in September. We are not able to make exceptions to this policy.
No, we do not accept payment by direct deposit into our bank account. All families must have a valid direct debit in place to a bank account or credit card. We have a small finance team and do not have the resources to monitor or track payments initiated by parents. We are not able to make exceptions to this policy.
Please have a read through our Fee Policy for more detailed information about fees.
Speak to us! There are a range of fee assistance options available, but we can only help you if you reach out. School fees should never be a barrier to a great education. You can send us an email or have a confidential chat with our Admissions Team on 02 9171 7001.
